Keeping a personal food diary is a tried and tested way to help you lose weight. It's easy & flexible. No diet plans or special foods - just stick to your personal targets & start losing weight!
If you've followed a diet plan for two weeks then given up because planning separate meals is difficult and it makes your weekly shop cost a fortune, then this diet service could be for you.
You start by simply entering everything you eat and drink into your online food diary. The reason it works is because it's all about thinking differently. There are no banned foods and you choose what you want to eat so it doesn't feel like you are 'on a diet' - and that's half the battle won! And importantly it's flexible - we all slip up from time to time, but a bad day doesn't blow your whole diet. With this system, you can eat food you like, lose weight and learn about changing your diet for long-term results
Sign up by entering your personal details into the Diet Profile box on the right of the home page, or click on the 'start here' tab. The system will set you calorie, fat and exercise targets. Then start to enter everything you eat and drink into your online food diary. This will help you to focus on what you're eating and how much. Don't be fooled into thinking you can rely on memory! Here's some interesting research; when asked to recall what food they had eaten in a day, people underestimated on average, by a third! With determination and honesty, your food diary will help you to shift those unwanted pounds. If you choose to be selective about what you record, the only person you cheat is yourself!
As soon as you're told you can't eat certain foods, you can guarantee it will be the only thing on your mind. That's why this approach is different and can help you succeed where other 'diets' have failed. The fact that no food is banned overcomes this negative psychology that results in obsessing about food. You can eat whatever you wish - as long as you stay within your personal calorie targets.
Treat your daily calorie allowance like money. US slimming expert Dr Stephen Gullo says 'We respect our money with good reason as we work hard to earn it. Likewise we should also respect our calories. Your body has to work hard to burn them and when you overspend, you end up wearing them'!
